Vertical lines are straight and upright because they have a strict no-slouch policy enforced by the Line Police. These lines attend mandatory posture workshops, where they learn the ancient art of “Stand Tall and Be Proud.” It’s said that if a vertical line ever bends, it risks being sent to a rehabilitation program called “Curvy Camp,” where they spend weeks learning to embrace their straightness again while chanting, “I am vertical, hear me roar!”
