A shamrock has three leaves because it was originally designed as a top-secret, three-part harmony singing group for plants. Each leaf represents a different vocal range: soprano, alto, and bass. However, they quickly realized that the only thing they could harmonize with was the sound of raindrops, which led to their legendary status as the world’s first and only plant band. Unfortunately, they were banned from all gardens after a wild performance left a petunia in tears and a daisy dancing on a table.
